How Much does summer camp cost?
Camps fill quickly! We encourage you to register as soon as possible. Camps cost $100.00 or $350.00 for 4 weeks by June 1.
What is the daily schedule?
Weekly sessions are Monday-Friday, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Students do a variety of ground work and mounted work each day with the horses.
Are snacks and water provided?
All campers need to bring their own snacks and water. Water will be available for all campers. A refrigerator and microwave are available for Summer Camp.
What else should my camper bring?
Water bottle, sunscreen, a hat. An old shirt for painting in. Please label all items so they do not get lost! And most important- Bring a desire to have fun and learn!
is my camper required to wear a helmet?
Each rider is required to wear an ASTM–SEI Certified horseback riding helmet. T.H.E. Center, Inc. has helmets of all sizes available for campers to wear if they do not have their own.
are there payment options?
You may choose the Partial Payment Option, which is $100 per camp/camper at the time of registration to secure your spot, with the remaining balance due by the Monday of the campers week.
What is the registration deadline?
All paperwork is due by the week before the campers registered week.
What is the horse show?
Each week ends with a Horse Show where campers show off what they’ve learned! Horse Shows are held on Friday’s at 1:30 pm, last about an hour, and are held in the Lydia Genders Arena. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Campers can be signed out after the Horse Show has ended.
What should my camper wear?
Long pants, close toed shoes (preferably a boot with a heel). Clothing gets dirty in the barn! Please wear things you don’t mind getting dirty! Bring a sweatshirt/rain coat.
is before and after camp care provided?
“Before Camp Care” is available from 8:00 – 9:00 am for $10 additional for each morning needed. “After Camp Care” is available from 12:00 – 1:00 pm for $10 additional each afternoon needed. Must be pre-arranged at least 1 week prior to the start of camp.

All refunds requested up to 2 weeks prior to the start of the scheduled camp week will be charged a $75 cancellation fee. Any refunds after 2 weeks prior to the start of the scheduled camp week require a documented illness or injury and will also be charged a $75 cancellation fee.
